sorry mate, that’s the reality of being 18. I drive a ford focus, I’m 29 and my insurance cost me £250 last year.
It’s nice to get a good car at 18, but the insurance will always get you, best option may be to get rid of it and get something cheaper.
BTW, what engine is it?

Im 21 (22 in march) with 3 points and a claim on my name (but settled)… My insurance renewal for my car is about £600 fully comp, thats on a £5000 car.. Not too bad, But i found insurance for a honda civic type r for about £50/ getting me one of them! haha

Anyone have an increase in car insurance this year, 2010? Even with a good record and same insurance company for years? We have Allstate around 20 years, nothing on our record. Raised our car insurance 25 percent, they said everybody’s went up. What? In this economy? Now Paying 450 bucks for 6 months on two cars that are 1995 and 1997. Liability. We are in our late 40’s live in California.

don’t believe everything this guy says, at one point a few years back he kept going on at people to apply for any unfair overdraft charges well i came in to that catorgory and moneysavingexpert advised that i write a letter to my bank asking for a refund around (400 squid) when i did they closed my account and i’m still waiting for my refund, ¨boo hoo¨
