Kenya launches insurance fraud investigation unit

www.ntv.co.ke An Insurance Fraud Investigation Unit has been launched in Kenya to rid the industry of the numerous cases of fraud it is often associated with. While the level of insurance penetration in the country remains low compared to some developing markets, the level of fraud has consistently remained high. The fraud unit is which is comprised of 9 members has been put up courtesy of a collaborative effort between the Insurance Regulatory Authority and the Police.
