I cannot stress the importance of goal setting enough. When you set goals, good clear and precise ones, you are, in a sense, drawing a road map that leads you to the hidden treasure! And of course, because of this, you become excited because you’ll CLEARLY be able to see EXACTLY how to get to it!…
So, now all you have to do is follow the road map.
What’s that? “goal setting is hard”, did I hear you say?…
Sometimes, yes! But when you learn how it’s done properly, it becomes much easier and you’ll start doing it by force of habit. Anyway, it’s the harder things in life that are the most worthwhile and gratifying; setting goals is no different! I most admit, I am weary of anything that is TOO easy, for that very reason!
The fact is, MOST people DON’T bother setting goals, and so it makes perfect sense that most people are NOT where they want to be in life. So, take my foolish advice…
It’s often good practice to use the majority as a CONTRARY indicator of what to do in a given situation. For example, the majority don’t take time to set goals, so you would do the opposite!

Obviously, I would recommend everybody to carry out goal setting, but I must stress the importance of setting the right type of goals, in the right order. Put another way, it’s important to prioritise your goals. Does that make sense? NO…

Many people overlook the important of strengthening their foundational values, BEFORE even thinking about following self improvement strategies. This is often the route cause of successes and failures in life!…
In a nutshell, it’s incredibly important to build ROCK-SOLID foundations BEFORE you set off trying to rule the world. Please believe me, you’ll thank yourself for it, and me too, hopefully!

Before I close this article, I will leave you with the key elements any good plan should have…
Obviously, it should have a goal, and where possible, this goal should be broken down into smaller goals. The goals should be clear and precise. For example, I want to own five 6 bedroom detached houses by January 1st 2020. Achieving your goals should be doable, but not necessarily easy, and should have some logic and structure to it!
Consider this…
There is no goal you can set that is more important then living a meaningful, passionate, abundant life, PERIOD! You just need to work out what your life needs to entail so you can achieve this!
