It Takes All Kinds: Fair triple-cross drama in reference to Miles’ guarding of Lansing after the man inadvertently kills a sailor in a fight in Australia. Cast includes Vera Miles, Barry Sullivan, Sid Melton, and Dime Sugg. (98 minutes,’69)
Underworld: Evolution: The war between the Werewolves and the Vampires rage on. Now we look back to the beginning, and see how the feud between the two races began. A confrontation that started way in the past is about to be brought into the present day to conclude here.
House on 92nd Street: Arousing documentary style drama-based movie. It’s about truth and orchestrated on true locations about FBI counterespionage exercises throughout WW2: Nazi representatives, operating in N.Y.C. try to steal part of the atom bomb secrets. Charles G. Booth made an Oscar for this story. Cast includes William Eythe, Lloyd Nolan, Signe Hasso, Gene Lockhart, Leo G. Carroll, and Lydia Clair. (88 minutes,’45)
Chicken Every Sunday: Carefree turn-of the century Americana in reference to get-rich-quick hopeful Dailey and his clingy spouse. Cast includes George Seaton, Dan Dailey, Celeste Holm, Colleen Townsend, Alan Youthful, and Natalie Wood. (91 minutes,’48)
Addicted to Love: This movie is a dark comedy which where we see an ex-boyfriend, and an ex-girlfriend spying on their former partners. They find themselves teamed together, with the young lady planning acts of revenge for her former man. Meg Ryan, Matthew Broderick, Kelly Preston, and Tcheky Karyo star. (1997 dark comedy directed by Griffin Dunne)
Red Skies of Montana: Corny account of woodland-firemen, rescued by amazing fire patterns. Cast includes Richard Widmark, Jeffrey Hunter, Constance Smith, Richard Boone, Richard Crenna, and Charles Bronson. (99 minutes,’52)
A la Mode: This is a lighthearted French comedy of a young orphan who becomes apprentice to a village tailor, who proceeds to make it in the fashion scene of the ’60s. If the remainder of the film were as clever as the clothes there may be more than suggested. Cast includes Remy Duchemin, Ken Higelin, Jean Yanne, Francois Hautesserre, and Florence Challenge. (82 minutes,’94)
